The best time to start looking for the upcoming summer season is in fall/winter. We will continue posting summer positions throughout the spring and summer.
Yes! We offer 1-2 weeks paid training at the beginning of the season (depending on position). Captain and deckhands get extensive safety training. Naturalists get tour- and area-specific training. All other positions get position-specific training. We also offer a USCG Captain’s course at the end of the season.
After you have submitted your online application, it will be reviewed by the recruiting team in a timely manner. If you meet the required qualifications, you will be contacted for an interview.
Our season begins mid-April and runs through the end of September.
You’ve landed a dream job in Alaska, now what? Well, get ready to have one of the best summers. The sun rises at approximately 4 a.m. and sets around 10 p.m. You will be putting in a lot of hours and hard work to ensure a positive experience for all our guests. We work hard, and we make sure to have fun, too!
Yes! All our vessel positions include room and board. Accommodations are bunk-style.
